At your request, we granted you in our letter of

  • January 17, 1973, a time ntanaim of 45 days for the subadttal of Yankee's report.

Our initial rwiew of your report has identified several areas in whieb we need additional information. 'Itatsfore, we cannot ocuplete our review befam your sahednlad resumption of cperation of the reactor with Cycle I during the week of April 2,1973, and we are not yet in a pcaition to agree with your ocncituinn that no additional operating restrictions are necessary. Pendug ocupletica of our detailed revise we nmelude that the peak linear power, in terms of km/ft, abould not exceed 75% of the 12.2 km/ft design value.
