Your letter dated June 28, 1973, transmitted the proprietary version of a report entitled "Easponse to Esquest for Additional Information Dated Juna 1, 1973," and requested that this report be withheld in its entirety from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR Part 2, Section 2.790(b).
The report provides your response to our June 1, 1973, request for additional information for continuing our review of your previous sub-mittal, entitled "Possible Effects of Fuel Densification on Subsequent Operation of YanLas Cycle L" Based on our ernmination of the proprietary report you have submitted,
' we concur in your assessment abat it contains certain information which would enable a reload fuel supplier in competition with Gulf United Nuclear Fuels Corporation to assess current Gulf United design and manufacturing methods and cal.culational restits and to erarine test results performed by Gulf Unitad at its ovr4 expense. However, since you have not yet subsitted the non-propriatary version of this report, we are not in a position to make the nacaosary finding that sufficient information is cone =4nad therein to advisa an interested member of the public of the safety considerations applicable thereto.
In viav of the foregoing, we e=nant act on your request for withholding the propriatary versica of the report until we have received from you the non-proprietary versica of the report within the time period as stated in your letter.
