Letter EF2-44,330 of October 25, 1978, W. J. Fahrner to James G. Keppler The purpose of this letter is to provide a record of the telephone conversation held between Messrs. R. W. Barr and M. K. Deora of Detroit Edison and Mr. H. S. Phillips of your organization on November 21, 1978.
In that telephone conversation, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission was notified that the cracking of the im-peller vane of the core spray pumps "B" and "C" for the Enrico Fermi II Project had been determined to be non-reportable per 10CFR50.55(e). This item had been previously reported to your organization as a reportable item on August 25, 1978.
This letter complies with the request of Mr. H. S. Phillips of your organization to provide a written record of the determination on non-reportability, since a written interim report on this prob-lem was submitted.
