This refers to your application dated January 11, 1979 requesting approval of Duke Power Company's (DPC) Quality Assurance (QA) program to meet the requirements nf 10 CTR 971.51.
As noted in your application, DPC has elected to utilize its existing quality assurance program.
It is requested that DPC reference Amendment No. 4 to the QA Topical Report, DUKE-1-A, which describes the existing operational QA program and which applies to all DPC's operating nuclear plants.
Please submit seven copies of your response to this request within 30 days following receipt of this letter.
