Dear Mr. Groce:
In recent telephone discussions representatives of your staff agreed to provide by mid-April 1979 the following geotechnical.information for the Yankee-Rowe site:
1.
In-situ velocity measurement data:
final data reduction and preparation.
2.
Measurement of soil densities by analysis of soil samples from borings.
3.
Determination of soils moduli from velocity and density data.
4.
Determin'ation of soil shear wave velocities.
We understand that you will produce this information from the raw data obtained during the soil /geotechnical investigations conducted by you and Weston Geophysical in the fall of 1978.
This infonnation will be useful in your Seismic Evaluation of Yankee-Rowe and it will significantly assist our review of this SEP topic.
