I would like also to draw your attention to Clause F of

Article II of the Agreement for Cooperation under which the United States Government has the first option to purchase the special nuclear material produced in the Tarapur Atomic Power Station which is in excess of the need of the Government ofIn'dia for such materialin its progra=me for the peaceful uses of a'e=ic energy.

May I suggest the.t in case the U.S. Govement wishes to incorporate changes in the existing agreement, that we meet And discuss this matter? If you will recollect, yoti have agreed to visit India this year and this matter could be discussed and *Ciced at that time.

In the meantime, I hope that my. suggestion regarding
'special nuclear material produced in the Tarapur A63mic Power Station would be acceptable to the U.S. Government and that there will be no difficulty in the United States Atomic Energy Commusioit adhering to the shipments of enriched ure*m and other materials need'for hse at or in connection with the Tarapur Atomic Power Station.
