The subject Decommissioning Plan for the C-E Windsor Facilities as required under Reference 1 is attached.
Figure V-1 of Reference 2 identifies those buildings on the C-E Windsor site that are covered by License SNM-1067 and will require decontamination before being released for unrestricted use, specifically Buildings 5, 6, and 17.
Building 5 Nuclear Development building that contains, among other things, laboratories used primarily for R&D operations on unclad uranium.
Building 6 Hot Waste Vault building that contains storage and dilution tanks for low level liquid wastes that are discharged from Buildings 5 and 17.
Buildina 17 Fuel Fabrication building that contains, in the north bay only, equipment for processing unclad ~ uranium into finished fuel pellets.
Included in the proposed plan i.; a summary of the cost for completing the de-commissioning work, estimated at $170,000. Also included is an estimate for the total number of cubic feet (20,500) of low level radioactive waste material, equipment, etc., generated as a result of the decommissioning process, that is to be shipped to a licensed, commercial site for burial.

The financial arrangements to assure that adequate funds are available to cover the costs at the time of decommissioning described in Reference (1) above are currently under review.
