2. It is agreed that with respect to (i) bcdily injury or prcoerty darage caused, during the efective period of this encorser.ent, by the radiocctive, toxic, explosive or other hazardous properties of nuclear raterial, and (ii) ccntingent liability as provided in Ccndition 4 for excess incurred losses because retrospective premium due under one or core binders with respect to such bodily in.iury or procerty darace is not paid:
a. The word "corpanies" wherever used in the policy treans the subscribing companies listed on the reverse side of this endorserent.
b. The policy shall be binding on such companies only.
c. Each such ccmpany shall be liable only for its proportion desicnated r. ext to its nare of any obligatier: assured or expense incurred under the policy.
3. It is agreed that the effective pericd of this endorsement is frcm the beginning of the effective date cf this endorsenent stated belcu, to the close of Cecerber 31st of the Calendar Year designated in the captien above, or to the tire of the termination or cancellation of the Draft ifaster Policy, or this binder, whichever first occurs, eastern standard time.
