APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Texas Instruments, Incorporated Docket No. 70-33 Based on the results of the NRC inspection conducted on October 24-26, 1978, it appears that one of your activities was not conducted in full compliance with NRC regulations and the conditions of your facility license No. SNM-23 as indicated below.
This item is an infraction.
Amendment 8, dated July 28, 1978, incorporates page 6a of your license application dated March 28, 1978, into your facility license which states under " Administrative Procedures," in part, that MSQs will be posted at each work station, each storage array and on each transporta-tion or storage cart used for SNM.
The MSQs will be defined as listed in Table 1 of Appendix 1.
Contrary to the above:
1.
On October 24, 1978, the MSQs posted on each work station in loca-tions 5, 8, 35, 36, 37, 38 and 39 were not defined as listed in Table 1 of Appendix 1.
2.
October 25, 1978, MSQs were not posted on two transportation or storage carts being used for SNM.
One cart was located in the chemical etch room and the other was located at the element-deburr work station.
