Gentlemen:
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.201, Texas Instruments (TI) is responding to your letter of December 6, 1978, " Inspection 70-33/78-15".
The case of noncompliance as itemized in your Appendix A is briefly described below with out associated (1) corrective steps which have been taken and our results achieved, (2) corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further items of noncompliance, and (3) the date when full compliance will be achieved.
INFRACTION:' Inadequate MSQ postings at work station locations 5,
8, 35, 36, 37, 38, and 39 and lack of MSQ posting on two transportation / storage carts.
(1) Corrective actions taken were:
(a) All postings of MSQ's have been accomplished in accordance with current approved limits.
(b) A total review of all work station locations and transportation / storage carts has been accomplished to assure compliance of all MSQ postings with currently approved limits.
(2) Corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further items of noncompliance are:
(a) The incorporation of approvea MSQ postings into the formal monthly criticality safety inspection.
'3) Full compliance has already been achieved.
