NOV 2 81978 APPENDIX B NOTICE OF DEVIATION General Electric Company License No. SNM-1997 Based on the results of the NRC inspection conducted on October 31 through November 3, 1978, certain of your activities appear to deviate from your commitments to the Commission, as indicated below.
Section 9.1 of the Demonstration of the License Application states that a photoelectric device is installed in each vaporization chamber to aid in leak detection.
Contrary to the above, operable photoelectric devices were not maintained in the vaporization chambers to aid in leak detection.
