Inspection on November 6-9,1978 (Report No. 70-820/78-24)
Areas Inspected:
Routine, unannounced inspection by regional based inspectors of nuclear materials control and accounting program including:
direct observa-tions of plant operations; storage and internal control; and records and reports.
The inspection involved 54 inspector-hours onsite by two regional based inspectors.
Results:
Of the three areas inspected, no apparent items of noncompliance were identified in one area; one apparent item of noncompliance was identified in each of the other two areas (infraction - failure to follow prescribed radio-logical control procedures for discarded SNM shipping containers - Paragraph 2; Deficiency - failure to record disposition of tamper-safing devices - Paragraph 3).
