Nov 2 31975 APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION General Electric Company License No. SNM-1097 Based on the results of the NRC inspection conducted on October 17-20, 1978, it appears that certain of your activities were not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below.
These items have been categorized as described in our correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.

10 CFR 20.201 states that each licensee shall make or cause to be made such surveys as may be necessary for him to comply with the regulations in this part.
Contrary to the above, on October 17, 1978, a licensee employee was observed welding contaminated equipment in the controlled area without an evaluation of the potential hazard for airborne radioactive caterial.
This is a repeat infraction.
