J. L. Belanger, J. C. Howell and Ms. J. Cogburn of this office on November 15-17, . 1975, of a:tivities at Zicn Nuclear Power Statien, Units 1 and ', authoriced by NRC Operating Licenses Sc. DPR-39 and Sc. CPR 43 and Oc the discussion of our findings with Mr. 5. L'andke and other members of your staff at the conclusicn of the inspecticn. The enclosed copy of cur inspection report identifies areas examined during the inspection. 'a'ithin these areas, the inspection censisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and interviews with persennel. During this inspection, certain of ycur activities appeared te be in noncompliance with NRC requirements, as described in the enclosed Appendix A. The inspection showed that action had been taken to correct the identified noncerpliance and to preven recurrence. Consequently, no reply to this nenecepliance is required and we have no further questions regarding this matter at this time. Areas examined during the inspection concern a subject ratter which is exempt frca disclosure according to Section 2.790 cf the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations. Consequently, our report of this inspection will not be placed in the Public Document Rocc. .. 79010400
