SUMMARY

Brunswick No. 2 Brunswick Unit No. 2 operated at a.67.7% capacity factor for the month of Janua ry . The following power changes and shutdowns occurred during the month:

January 1: Carryover outage from 79-025. The unit was of f-line 106.4 hours4.62963e-5 days 0.00111 hours 6.613757e-6 weeks 1.522e-6 months during this report period because of a Plant Modification to the safety relief valves.

January 7: The unit was shutdown for 51.9 hours1.041667e-4 days 0.0025 hours 1.488095e-5 weeks 3.4245e-6 months because of leakage on safety relief valve F013K.

Total " downtime" was 158.3 hours3.472222e-5 days 8.333333e-4 hours 4.960317e-6 weeks 1.1415e-6 months , resulting in a 78.7% availability factor.

For more detailed information on individual outages, see the Unit Shutdowns and Power Reduction Log (Aprendix D) for this month. The unit is scheduled for a refueling outage to begin March 1,1980.
