Gentlemen:

This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. N. J. Chrissotimos of this

office on November 5 - December 14, 1979, of activities at Quad-Cities

Nuclear Power Station authoria.ed by NRC Operating License No. DPR-29/DPR-30

and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. N. Kalivianakis at the con-

clusion of the inspection.

The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during

the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selec-

tive examination of procedures and representative records, observations,

and interviews with personnel.

No itema of noncompliance with NRC requirements were identified during the

course of this inspection.

In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2,

Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the en-

closed inspection report will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room,

except as follows.
