MOTION FOR EATENSION OF TIME IN WHICH TO FILE RESPONSE TO BOARD ORDER On October 24, 1979, the Licensing Board granted Applicant, Commonwealth Edison Company, an extension of tine within which to respond to the Board's Order requesting information concerning intergranular stress corrosion cracking.
By that Order, Applicant's submittal was due on November 16, 1979, with NRC Staff's Response thereto due on November 30, 1979.
Staff Counsel now requests an additional extension of time to respond until December 14, 1979. The Staff's primary reviewer of Applicant's submittal, Dr. John Weeks, of Brookhaven National Laboratory, did not receive this sub-mittal until November 21, 1979, and will be in a travel status from November 26, 1979 through November 30, 1979. Additionally, Staff Counsel did not receive. copies of Applicant's submittal for review by the NRC Staff's 1526 352 7 912100 4 ~16
technical reviewers in-house until November 28, 1979 because of delays within the United States m:il and the NRC's internal distribution system.
