The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment flo. 42 to Facility Onerating License flo. DPR-50 for Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit flo. 1.
The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your recuest of Febnfary 3,1978, as supplemented by letters dated April 18, 1978, and July 7, 1978.
The amendment revises the Technical Spec 1fications to change the nethod of surveillance testing of the reactor internal vent valves.
Copies of the Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
