Thank you for your letters dated September 11, 1979, which discuss your actions and plans, including current inspection and test results, regarding the require-ments of IE Bulletins No. 79-02, No. 79-13, and No. 79-14, as they relate to the Dresden, Quad-Cities and Zion stations.
The NRC has evaluated your request for time extensions for completion of the inspectiots required by these bulletins, as delineated in your correspondence, and your request is approved. We expect the inspections to be completed in accordance with the schedule presented in your correspondence, unless future inspection and/or test results dictate a change to the schedule, as required in the bulletins.
