A.
Technical Specification 4.1.1.3.2, Appendix B, requires that surveys of the mixing zone be made on a bimonthly basis to examine fish behavior in this area.
Contrary to this requirement, during 1978, surveys to examine fish behavior in the mixing zone area were only made in January, July, flovember and December.
This item is a deficiency.
B.
Technical Specification 4.2.3.1, Appendix B, requires the licensee to notify in writing the Director of Licensing if the required milk samples cannot be obtained.
Contrary to this requirement, the licensee did not notify the Director of Licensing in writing that they were unable to obtain milk samples from the Palmer Dairy during 1978.
