Dceket No. 50-269 Operating License DPE-50 Nonrcutine 10-Day Report Th-07 In accordance with the Technical Specificatiens for our Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1, please find enclcsed Nenroutine 10-Day Report Th-07, which deals with a small fire which cccurred en the Exhaust Manifold of Emergency Diesel Generator EG-V-13 en November 18, 197h.
It has been determined that this incident is reportable under paragraph 6.7.2.a.k. of the Technical Specificatiens in that it could have prevented the perfor ance of the intended safety functicn of an engineered safety feature.
We vould like to point out at this time that neither the health nor safety of the rublic was threatened as a result of this incident in that cnly cne Energency Diesel Generator is needed to supply 100f, of the unit's power requirements during a design basis emergency and the other, unaffected Generator was crerable at the time of the incident.
