5-18 Commenc.d Main Generator disassenbly to repair burned spots on r.tator iron and 5-year inspection.

PERSONNEL CHANCES RI:0UIRING REPORTING No personnel changes that require reporting in accordance with Technical Specifications Figure 6.9-2 were made in May, 1979.

MAJOR ITEMS OF SAFETY-RELATFD ?!AINTl: NANCE

1) Made an alteration to the pressurizer heater bundle closure (seal-welded flanges).
2) Replaced disc on valve 1!V-21517, pressurizer vent valve.

Recorqued upper and lower manways /handholes on primary and secondary side of OTSG A and B.

4)

Rebuilt three snubbers which were found low on oil during snubber inspection.

SUIDIARY OF CHANGES MADE IN ACCORDANCE UITil 10 CFR 50.59 (b) 1)

Installed Io 'zation fire detectors in fire arean /134, 35, 39, 40 and 42.

2) Relocated existing vibration detectors on the southeast and northwest fence line to the new fence.
