RELEASE OF INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC -
NEW ENGLAND POWER PROJECT, UNITS 1 AND 2 By your letter, dated February 9,1979, you submitted Revision 3 to the NEP General and Financial Information section of your application.
You classified a portion of the financial information submitted as privileged and confidential and requested that it be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790.
On March 12, 1979, we requested additional justification for withholding the material submitted on February 9,1979 pursuant to 10 CFR Section 2.790.
We also stated that if you did not provide us with information which would establish a sufficient basis upon which to approve your application for withholding, the subject material would be placed in the Public Doctment Rooms in not less than thirty days from the date of our letter.
On April 17, 1979, Mr. Sydney Miner of my staff discussed the above matter with Mr. John DeVicintis of your office.
In that discussion, we were informed that you would neither make a further request for withholding of the subject financial information nor withdraw the information.
Therefore, since more than 30 days has elapsed from the date of our March 12, 1979 letter, with a copy of this letter, the financial tables, forecasts, and schedules submitted with your letter, dated February 9, 1979, will be made available for public viewing at the Conmission's Public Docunent Room located at 1717 H Street, N. W., Washington, D. C.
