HRC Inspection This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. B. Baird of this office on December 11, 1978 of activities authorized by NRC License No.

53-12987-01 and to th discussion of our findings held by Mr. Baird with you and members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.

The inspection was en examination of the activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and the conditions of your license.

The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel and observations by the inspector.

During this inspection, it was found that one of your activities appeared to be in noncompliance with NRC requirements. The item and reference to the pertinent requirement is listed in the enclosure to this letter. This item has been categorized into a level as described in our correspondence to all NRC licensees dated December 31, 1974.

The inspector verified that corrective action was taken for the item of noncompliance on the Notice of Violation prior to the completion of the inspection. Therefore, no written response to this letter is required.
