'4.... 4 ALABAMA POWER COMPANY DOCKET NO. 50-348 JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCIEAR PLANT, UNIT NO. 1 AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE Amendment No. 9 License No. NPF_-2 1.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has found that:
A.
The filings by Alabama Power Company (the licensee). dated May 25, 1977 as supplemented on November 11 and December 13, 1977 and April 14 and November 16, 1978, comply with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I; B.
The facility will operate in conformity with the licensee's filings, the provisions of the Act, and the rules and regu' ' ions of the Commission; C.
There is reasonable assurance (i) that the activities authorized by this amendment can be conducted without endangering the health and safety of the public, and (ii) that such activities will be conducted in compliance with the Commission's regulations; D.
The issuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the common defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; and E.
The issuance of this amendment is in accordance with 10 CFR Part 51 of the Commission's regulations and all applicable requirements have been satisfied.

Accordingly, Facility Operating License No. NPF-2 is hereby amended by adding the revised Section 2.D. to read as follows:
"2.D.
The licensee shall maintain in effect and fully implement all provisions of the Commission-approved physical security plan, including amendments and changes made pursuant to the authority of 10 CFR 50.54(o). The approved security plan documents, withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(d), are collectively titled " Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant Physical Security Plan", dated November 10, 1977 with Revision No. I dated December 13, 1977, Revision No. 2 dated April 14, 1978, and Revision No. 3 dated November 16, 1978."

This license amendment becomes effective on February 23, 1979.
