2. Corrective Action - The following action was taken to resolve the deficiency:
a. In the intake structure area thepump discharge hoses have been placed in the settling basin built in cofferdam cell no. 10. All dewatering directly into the river has been stopped.
b. The blowdown trench dewatering pump discharge hose has been placed in an area designated as a temporary siltation basin in the wooded area adjacent to the stream. The capacity of this natural settling basin is large enough to accept all expected blowdown trench dewatering pump discharges without overflowing into either Possum Hollow Run or the Schuylkill River.

Action to Prevent Recurrence The J. E. Brenneman Co. superintendent has been instructed that all dewatering shall be into approved siltation basins. The Bechtel pollution control engineer will make periodic surveys of the intake structure and blowdown trench areas to assure that the corrective measures prevent untreated discharges from entering either Possum Hollow Run, or the Schuylkill River.
