Dear Mr. Denton:

As you probably know the General Electric facility, Vallecitos Road, Pleasanton is operated under revocable permits from Alameda County, as well as licences from Federal and State agencies.

We have been asked to investigate this facility for compliance with the Alameda County Ordinance Code and tenns of County Use Permits.

The County Ordinance provides that any proceedings to revoke County Use Pennits must be initiated by the Building Official.

It is our understanding that recent geological investigation pertinent to public health and safety, and particularly relating to storage of radio-active material on this site, have recently been conducted.

cherefore requested that documents pertinent to these recent investigations be forwarded to our office for review.
