THREE MILE ISLAND NUCLEAR STATION UNIT 1 (TMI-1)

DOCKET NUMBER 50-289 OPERATING LICENSE NUMBER DPR-50 Section 2.1.1.9 of the TMI-l Restart Report was submitted with Amendment No. 11.

This section provides a conceptual description of a system to close the PORV block valve on low Reactor Coolant System pressure.

We have not concluded that the addition of this feature is appropriate.

Therefore, we request that you consider Section 2.1.1.9 to be withdrawn until informed otherwise.
