We have received your letter of January 7,1930, which enclosed the letter of December 4,1979, to Public Service Indiana (PSI) frnm the Louisville Water Company (LUC) designating the closest LWC water intake downstream of the !!arble Hill ttuclear Generating Station.
It is at this location that LWC desires to conduct its pre-operational and operational radiological monitoring of Ohio River water related to the Marble Hill plant.
We note that PSI agrees with this designation. Our staff has reviewed this sampling point about 25 river miles downstream of the Marble Hill plant and approves it as appropriate for complying with the provisions of the Marble 11111 Construction Permits flo. CPPR-170 and CPPR-171 dated April 4,1978.
Copies of this letter are being sent also to Mr. Stephen A Hubbs and Mr. Frank C. Campbell of the Louisville Water Company.
