APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Carolina Power and Light Company License Nos. DPR-62 Brunswick, Units 1 and 2
& DPR-71 Based on the KRC inspection September. 29 - October 26, 1979, certain of your acti-vities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by Section 3.7.2.2 of the Technical Specifications with one or more of the Diesel Generator spray and/or sprinkler systems inoperable, establish a continuous fire watch with bickup fire suppression equipment within one (1) hour.
Contrary to the above, on October 16, a fire protection sprinkler and stand-pipe system, for the No. 3 Diesel Generat ar was isolated and the continuous fire watch was not stationed.
This is an infraction. Similar items were brought to your attention in our letters dated May 14, 1979 and September 19, 1979.
