Dear Mrs. Spies:
This is in reference to our telephone conversation on Friday, January 11, 1980, regarding your license applications (reference numbers 1589/77 and IEA669/78) for the export of NBS standards containing special nuclear material to Brazil.
In accordance with your request, we are returning these applications without action as the NRC will not be able to issue export licenses for this material in the foreseeable future.
We will advise the U.S. Department of Commerce that these orders have been c.ancell ed.
