Dear Mr. Keppler:
In response to Item 4 of IE Bulletin No. 79-21, Temperature Effects on Level Measurements, Commonwealth Edison committed in Reference (b) to revising Emergency Operating Procedures, by December 15, 1979, to reflect the effects on pressurizer and steam generator level indications due to pressurizcr pressure, steam gen-erator pressure and containment temperature.
Since the associated Emergency Operating Procedures are in the process of being revised to reflect small break LOCA concerns as required by NUREG-0578, Commonwealth Edison will incorporate the effects on pressurizer pressure and steam generator pressure with these revisions.
These revisions will be implemented by January 1, 1980.
Please address any questions that you might have concerning this matter to this office.
Very truly yours,
/h.(
