Dear Mr. Jones:
By letter dated May 17, 1978, we requested information on dampeners for the positive displacement pumps at Fort Calhoun. We also requested an analysis of pump induced vibrations and any proposed modifications to the Chemical Volume Control System (CVCS) to reduce such vibrations.
By letters dated July 11, 1978, and November 6, 1979, you provided your analysis of the Fort Calhoun CVCS and proposed modifications to the vibration dampener system.
We have now completed our evaluation (enclosure) and have determined that your proposed modifications are acceptable.
