NRC STAFF RECONNAISSANCE REPORTS - IMPERIAL VALLEY EARTHQUAKE - OCTOBER 15, 1979 Following the October 15, 1979 Imperial Valley Earthquake, an interdisciplinary team from the staff made contact with several local, state and government agencies investigating damage caused by seismic ground motion and was on the
- cene within two days after the earthquake. This was an unique effort on our part and we found the results very beneficial. The irmiediate reports written by the team members are enclosed for the infonnation of the committee.
