Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. Ralph Meyer of this office
on September 21 and 22, 1972, of activities authorized by AEC Ccnstruction
Permit No. CPPR-40, and to the discussion of our findings held by Mr. Meyer
with Mr. Herbein and Mr. Wise of your staff. at the conclusion of the in-
spection.
Areas examined during this inspection included:
the radiation protection
and chemistry organization relative to education, background, experience,
responsibilities and on site training; scope of radiation protection
training for plant personnel; status of radiation protection, chemistry,
and radiochemistry procedures; status of the radiation protection man-

ual, personnel monitoring program, radiation protection facihties , equip-
ment, fixed monitoring systems, and portable instruments. Within these
areas, the inspection consisteu of selective anminations of procedures
and representative records, interviews with plant personnel, and observa-
tions by our inspector.
No items of noncompliance were identified during this inspection.
