Until nany questiens are answered regarding safety at our ?Iuclear power plants, rf position is that there should be no further construction of such plants. *le are all aware of the fact that we have to find alternate enery s ources. 'de feel, how-ever, that the cost of enery sources must also be studied: not just in dollars and cents, but in the cost ' o future inhabitants of our society.

c I feel sure the "uclear Regulate:y Cen.ission is far more qualified than I am to nake such decisiens.

I feel very uneasy about a nuclear facility being planned in nearby Yadkin Countf until there are Ore guaranteed safety factors, not only in the " running" of the plant, but also in the disposal of nuclear wastes.
