Dear Sir:
Enclosed are proposed changes to the James A.
FitzPatrick Technical Specifications (Attachment A) revising the require-ment for the radiation dose rate monitoring device in the high radiation area.
The reasons for such changes are set forth in the supporting information (Attachment B).
The Authority has classified this Application for Amendment to the Operating License as Class III as it involves the single safety issue of monitoring device in the high radiation area.
Enclosed is a check in the amount of $4,000 as the filing fee per 10 CFR Section 170.22, which the Authority pays under protest pending a final determination of the legality of the fee schedule.
Enclosed for filing are three (3) originals and nineteen (19) copies of a document entitled " Application for Amendment to Operating Liccuse", together with forty (40) copies of Attachments A and B, thereto.
