Dear Mr. Groce:
We have reviewed your report entitled " Application of Yankee -
WREM - Based Generic PWR ECCS Evaluation Model to Maine Yankee (3-Loop Sample Problem)" submitted August 3, 1978.
We have determined that the present modified version of YAEC's ECCS evaluation model, consisting of RELAP 4 EM (YAEC-058), RELAP 4 -
FLOOD and T00DEE 2 (YAEC-03) is acceptable for analyses of loss of coolant accidents at Maine Yankee and is acceptable on a generic basis for YAEC PWR reload licensing applications.
A copy of our evaluation is enclosed.
