This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. S. R. Lasuk of this office on Nove:r.ber 16, 1978, of activities authorized by SPC Sypro-duct haterial License No. 13-04004-02 and Special Nuclear Saterial License No. SS.1-700 and to the discussion of our finaings witn you at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Comeission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license.
The inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, independent ti.e a s u reme n t s, and interviews with personnel.
During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in noncompliance with NRC requirements, as described in the enclosed Appendix A.
This notice is sent to you pursuant to the provisions of Sectica 2.201 of the NP.C's "Kules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regula tions.
Section 2.201 requires you to submit to tnis office within twenty days of your receipt of this notics. a written statement or explanation in reply, including for each item of non-compliance: (1) corrective action taken and the results achieved; (2) corrective action to be taken to avoid further noncompliance; and (3) the date when full compliance will be achieved.
