Emergency Diesel Generators - Air Start Isolation Valves This is in response to your letter of September 25, 1978 which requested a statement of our intent regarding compliance with your position on admini-strative control of emergency diesel generator air start manual isolation valves. This letter supersedes our previous response of October 31, 1978.
As a result of further discussions with members of your staff, we now concur with your position. Accordingly the emergency diesel generator air start manual isolation valves will be key locked in the open position with the keys under administrative control. Full compliance in this matter has been achieved at North Anna Power Station.
