Dear Sirs:
Pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR 71.51(d), the Power Authority of the State of New York will apply the applicable portions of its U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission approved Operation Quality Assurance
" Packaging Programs to the applicable activities set forth la 10CFR 71, of Radioactive Material for Transport and Transportation of Radioactive Materials Under Certain Conditions".
The Authority's Quality Assurance Programs will be modified accordingly.
Carriers of radioactive materials are required to submit their Quality Assurance Programs to the Commission for review and approval 1979.
