Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
United Engineers and Constructors was contracted to update the System Description volume of the plant Operating Manual to incorporate completed plant modifications.
While reviewing the completed plant modifications (approximately 1700) to determine the correct information for updating the System Descriptions, the scope of the project was changed from a System Description update to a complete System Description rewrite.
The review of the plant modifications is complete and the System Description rewrite has begun. Based on the increased scope of the project, the amount of time required to complete the first System Description, and the number of System Descriptions to be rewritten, the rewriting of the System Descriptions will not be complete until October 31, 1980. Those System Descriptions involving safety-related systems will be rewritten first, and should be completed by April 30, 1980.
