Section 3.5..\.9 of the Tcennical Specifications will be revised to reflect a reduction in the minimum suppression chamber downcomer submergence level. Tne subject Technical specification Change is a result of the Mark I Containment Long Term Program as presented in General Electric's Report "NEDL-21885-P, Mark I Downcomer Reduced Submergence - Functional Assessment Repor t ." The report was forwarded to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission by General Electric on July 31, 1970.
Tne Technical Specification Cnange Request has been reviewed and approved by the Station Superintedent, the Plant Operations Review Committee, and an Independent Safcty Revieu Group in accordance witn Section 6.5 of tne Oyster Creek Technical Specifications.
