ORDER REQUESTING STATEMENTS FROM THE PARTIES As a result of recent Commission actions involving emergency planning this Board is concerned about further hearings on that issue.

Particular attention is drawn to the Commission's pro-posed rule published in the Federal Register on December 21, 1979 (44 Fed. Reg. 75167).

Consequently, the Board requests that all the parties file statements with the Board as to whether emergency planning is still a proper issue in this proceeding.

The Board also requests statements from the parties as to when testimony should be filed and hearings scheduled, if emer-gency planning is still a proper issue to be considered by this Board.
