Gentlemen:
In response to your letter dated November 29, 1979, the following is provided.
Following receipt of your letter, we contacted the State of Arkansas Office of Emergency Services (OES - the state agency principally re-sponsible for evacuations) for assistance in providing the requested information.
OES informed us that they in turn had visited with appropriate local officials. Based on these meeti gs, existing local warning and noti-fication systems, experience in actu'al evacuation situations and ambu-lance response times, the estimated evacuation times on Attachment I were developed. The estimates were all based on adverse weather con-ditions and are, therefore, conservative for normal weather conditions.
Sectors given are in directions from ANO out to a radius of 10 miles.
