Docket No. 50-409 Mr. Frank Linder General Manager Dairyland Power Cooperative 2615 East Avenue South La Crosse, Wisconsin 54601

Dear Mr. Linder:

RE: STATUS AND CATEGORIZATION OF SYSTEMATIC EVALUATION PROGRAM (SEP) TOPICS Enclosed is a tabulation of the status and categorization of the SEP Topics for your facility. The tabulation indicates those topics for which the initial assessment has been completed, a revised assessment is under way, or the topic is completed.

For these topics we would expect little further involvement from you. For completeness, we have also indicated those topics which are not applicable to your facility and those generic topics which will be evaluated outside the SEP.

The tabulation also provides a generalized assessment of the expected involvement of the licensee on each topic review. This assessnent may change, however, as topic reviews progress and deviations from current licensing criteria are identifi ed.

For those topics requiring a major involvement by you, we will identify as soon as possible the work expected of you.

We would then expect you to assign the appropriate resources to these areas so an acceptable review schedule can be met.

Si ncerely,

A
