United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region III 799 Roosevelt Road l

Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60137 Gentlemen:

This communication is in response to IE Bulletin No. 79-19 required of all NRC licensees.

Under'" Action To Be Taken By Licenraas", there are a list of 9 items.

We find it difficult to respo.id since we generate no radio-active waste as such, however, should we ever do so Roderick D. Riggs, Ph.D., will be responsible for safe transfer, packaging and transport of low-level radioactive material.

Answers to the last three items under answers for 1978 and the first six months of 1979 are as follows:

1.

No waste shipments were made.

2.

Hence, zero curies shipped.

3.

No liquid low-level radioactive waste was generated.

Sincerely yours, 0

Roderick D.
