TRIP REPORT - SITE VISITS AND MEETINGS WITH TAC CONSULTANTS AT SEQUOYAH AND MCGUIRE PLANTS (SEB:
1112, 1115)
The subject trip was made at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant on November 14 and
.t McGuire Nuclear Station on November 15, 1979.
Dr. Lowell Greimann and Mr. Fouad Fanous of Ames Laboratory, our consultants who provide technical assistance to DSS in " Review of Nuclear Plants Structural Design" (FIN No. A-4131), joined me at both sites.
The purpose of this trip was, to familiarize our consultants with the containment structure of both plants and to,;2ther necessary technical information so that they may carry on the cont' actual task.
Report of these meetings are summarized as follows.

David P. Ormsby TVA - Office of Power Don Denton TVA - Office of Design C. R. Morgan TVA - ENDES-NLS Lowell Greimann Ames Laboratory Fouad Fanous Ames Laboratory S. P. Chan NRC - SEB A set of structural drawings of the containment vessel was presented to Dr. Greimann by TVA staffs.
Technical discussions ensued.
The meeting ended with an observation visit to the containment area.
