ORDER CLARIFYING THE ORDER OF NOVEMBER 19, 1979 December 17, 1979 In a letter dated November 30, 1979, the Staff requested clarification of certain actions which footnote 4 of our Order of November 19,1979 re-flected as having been taken during the special prehearing conference held between October 15 and October 19, 1979.

Said footnote 4 is revised to reflect that Mr. Doherty withdrew original Contention 19 and Amended Contention 19 (Tr.1372-73), and withdrew original Contention 34 and Amended Contention 34 (Tr.1083) which were substantially similar.

(Parenthetically we note that Mr. Doherty withdrew original Conten-tions18 and 37, which had not been amended).

Said footnote is also revised to reflect that the Board accepted the Staff's, Applicant's and Mr. Doherty's stipulation agreeing to the admissibility of the second part of Contention 25 (concerning fuel failure detection). There being no agreement upon the first part (concerning debris blockage of two fuel assemblies), the Board will rule upon the admissibility of said first part in 1664 325 80o102 0 ogo G

a subsequent Order.

IT IS SO ORDERED.

FOR THE ATOMIC SAFETY AND LICENSING BOARD Y,

>lAR Sheldon J. Relfe, Esquire Chairman Dated at Bethesda, Maryland this 17th day of December, 1979.
