Arkansas Nuclea.r One-Unit 1 Docket No. 50-313 License No. DPR-51 Auxiliary (Emergency) Feedwater Control System (File: 1510.1) Gentlemen: By letter dated October 31, 1979, Arkansas Power & Light Company provided a conceptual design for initiation and control of emergency feedwater (EFW) independent of the Integrated Control System (ICS). Figure 1 of that letter provided the initiation and control logic to be utilized in the design. This letter provides a correction to Figure 1, and a schematic of the proposed de-sign. Your expeditious approval of this conceptual design is necessary to allow compliance with Item 2.1.7.a of NUREG-0578. May we have your concurrence as soon as possible?
